  • Annual Johnson County Peach Festival - mid June - See their website for this year's dates and times

Email: Terrapin derby, frog jump, peach jam & jelly and peach cobbler bake-off, street dance, parade, diaper derby, craft booths, concession stands, peach pit spitting contest, water balloon toss, fiddling contest, egg toss, bicycle obstacle course, horseshoe pitching contest, Princess Elberta Pageant & Miss Arkansas preliminary pageants. Admission: Free events; pageants $7. Plan to stay all day Friday with events such as a diaper derby, helicopter tours, pocket car race, bicycle obstacle course, the Kids' Zone (inflatables), frozen T-shirt contest and skateboard contest as well as a peach cobbler and jam and jelly bake-off and a peach pie eating contest. A Street Dance featuring On The Verge will begin at 9:00 p.m. The 4-mile run kicks off Saturday activities followed by various events including a fishing derby, cardboard boat regatta, greased pig chase, frog jump, terrapin derby, peach eating contest, Johnson County Idol (adult) and Lip Sync contest.   • Lafayette Peach Annual Festival - a Saturday in mid-August from 9 am to 4 pm
    Old Town Lafayette on Public Road, Layfayette, CO. Phone: 303-666-9555.. This is truly a peachy day! Palisade, Colorado peaches will be available for purchase. In addition to the world famous Palisade peaches, there will be an array of peach dishes for sale prepared by the huckleberry (Louisville), including 4,500 servings of warm peach cobbler and 500 peach pies with crumb topping and 80 individual pans of peach cobbler available for purchase while supplies last. Lafayette Chamber members and local volunteers will be selling these items in addition to the delicious peach smoothies throughout the day. Enjoy fresh baked bread, BBQ, Philly Cheese Steaks, Peach Pizza, Brats, Burgers, Gyros, Turkey Legs and much more from the many food vendors. The Festival is free to the public and features arts and crafts, antiques, food booths, free face painting, kids' activities (some fees apply) and so much more! Only Service Dogs Allowed!   • Palisade Peach Festival - mid August - See their website for this year's dates and times
    Palisade, CO. Phone: 970-464-7458. Four days of fun-filled, entertaining events. With more than 100 food, art and craft vendors, great live musical entertainment, a fantastic children's area, various culinary activities, numerous special events, and of course. peaches. Festivities get underway Thursday evening, August 14 in downtown Palisade with the Ice Cream Social and Street Dance and the "passing of the torch" between the outgoing and incoming Town Grouch. Friday afternoon and Saturday are highlighted by the Peach Festival at Riverbend Park with a variety of other events taking place around town. Along with the festival in the park, there are plenty of opportunities for a genuine Palisade Experience throughout the four days − from guided orchard tours, to a historical walking tour, to self-guided biking and rafting trips and the Sunday Farmers Market.

  • Wyoming Peach Festival - Held the first Saturday each August from 9 am to 3 pm

The downtown area is turned into an area with food and craft vendors. Many shows take place at the railroad freight platform during the day. If is a fun filled day for every member of the family.   • The Louisiana Peach Festival - The fourth weekend in June

The Louisiana Peach Festival is a family-oriented event produced by the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce, and held each year the fourth weekend of June. From Peach dignitaries, floats, cheerleaders, clowns and music to marching groups and more will make their way through Ruston with Dr. Jackie Robbins of Irrigation Mart as the Grand Marshal. Join us as the parade winds through downtown Ruston.
    The Louisiana Peach Festival Parade is presented by PetStar Animal Care and produced by Junior Auxiliary of Ruston.
    Parade begins at LA Tech Athletics Complex, follows Alabama Avenue to Trenton Street to Dan Reneau Drive.

  • The Knott's Island Peach Festival - the last full weekend in June; Saturday, 10:00am to 6:00pm; Sunday, 10am to 4pm
    Knotts Island, NC. Saturday from 10-7 with lawn mower races, and parade starts at 9am. Sunday, the park opens up again at 10:00 and the festival is over that evening at 5:00 pm. Held on Knotts Island on the grounds of the Ruritan Community Park on Brumley Road. There is a lot of room for parking and people. Get some basic directions further down. Parking is free. At the gate, there is a $5.00 admission fee (donation). Children under 12 are admitted for free when accompanied by paying adults. This price will admit you to the Wildlife Festival as well.   • Porter Peach Festival and 5k run - Thursday, Friday and Saturday in mid July; See their website for this year's dates and times
    peach cobbler, peach dessert, and peach preserves in Porter, OK at the annual Porter Peach festival. Saturday at 1 p.m. there'll be free peaches and ice cream! There's also a rodeo, bluegrass and country bands, a golf tournament, car show, and of course, a parade. The Miss Peach and Miss Peach Bud will also be introduced. One visitor commented that there were few peaches or peach dishes to be found at last year's festival.

The Stratford Peach Festival will feature a variety of activities including live entertainment, arts and craft vendors, street games, helicopter rides and more. Pick up a bushel of fresh peaches from one of seven area orchards participating in the event, or simply enjoy a delicious serving of homemade peach ice cream. The Peach Festival car show will be making a return to this year's event and will include muscle cars, original trucks, modified trucks, special interest vehicles, sport compact cars, street rods from the 1920s-'60s and a variety of other classics. Categories of competition will include best in show, most likely to get a ticket, best custom truck, mayor's choice and more. Grab a seat along the sidelines or challenge the locals to such contests as a hay toss, best-dressed animal and ugly dog contest, sack races, a water balloon toss, money in the haystack, three-legged races, a hula-hoop contest, Frisbee throw and turtle races. There's something for everyone at this year's Peach Festival, so bring the whole family and prepare to have a great time this July.

  • Chattanooga Market Peach Festival - a Sunday in mid July
    First Tennessee Pavilion, 1826 Carter Street, Chattanooga TN. Market visitors will find peach farms with a variety of peaches ready to take home. Adding to the festival, Market vendors will join in the theme to create other products utilizing fresh peaches: lemonade, cobbler, lotions/candles, salsas and more. For peach aficionados, on hand will be Sierra Gem freestone peaches (Melon Patch Farms), July Prince freestone peaches (Hazelrig Orchards and Watsonia Farms). Sunday Funday would not be complete without live music on the Lodge Cast Iron Sizzle Stage. Performing on Sunday, Tyler Martelli and Friends beginning at 12:30pm. Both Collegedale Market and Chattanooga River Market continue throughout the summer. Each features a unique vibe and alternate location. Collegedale Market is a morning farmers and artists market open Sundays 10am-2pm. Held at The Commons in Collegedale, it's a smaller version of the well known downtown Market. Chattanooga River Market is primarily an artists market, with some take and go artisan foods as well. That Market is on the Tennessee Aquarium Plaza from 10am-5pm each Saturday.

An overnight stay at Mountaineer Casino, Racetrack and Resort is among items up for grabs in the baskets.
