All the strawberry festivals in we can find are listed on this page! If you love strawberries, look for a festival near you below! And I'm always looking for more strawberry festivals! Please write me, if you know of any to add!  I update the dates as soon as the festivals publish their information, but you can always click on the links (usually the name of the festival) to see the current information on the festival's own website. 

I update this list every year, but still click on the links to the festival (the blue, underlined name of the each festival) to confirm this year's dates on the website for each festival. They may change or cancel at the last minute. . If they don't have a website, call the phone number provided, but ALWAYS CONFIRM THIS YEAR'S DATES AND TIMES BY EITHER VIEWING THEIR WEBSITE OR CALLING.

2018 Strawberry Festivals - Where, When and More Details!

 

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm. They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more.

Community Strawberry Festivals

  • Clifton Strawberry Festival - Saturday, in early June ( June 2, 2018) from 10:00am to 2:00pm
    City Green, 171 Grove St., Clifton, NJ 07013. Phone: 973-869-4086. Live music, Arts and crafts, family activities Pick your own strawberries LOTS OF STRAWBERRY FUN! SATURDAY, JUNE 2ND AT THE FARM ECO-CENTER
  • Moorestown Presbyterian Church Strawberry Festival - always held on the first Friday in June ( Friday evening, June 3, 2016, starting at 6 pm)
    First Presbyterian Church, 101 Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown, NJ. Phone: 856-764-8504. Money magazine's best place to live in America (2007) has a great festival sponsored by the First Presbyterian Church. Homemade cakes, ice cream and, of course, strawberries will be available throughout the event. The band Bob's Bandits will play and children can go on a hay ride, get their faces painted, or ride the strawberry train. Strawberry Festival at the First Presbyterian Church. $5 adults; $3 children. Tickets are available now in the church office or at the festival. 6 to 9 pm In the event of rain, the festival is held in Fellowship Hall, indoors. (UPDATED: June 13, 2013, by JBS)
  • Oceanport Lion's Club Annual Strawberry Fair - Wednesday, May 30 through Sunday, June 3, 2018
    Monmouth Park Race Track, Oceanport NJ. Held in the parking lot. featured rides, games and food, including the traditional strawberry short cake. Included in the fun was the animals' display where youngsters delighted in getting a close up view of the furry friends. Other proceeds go to Lions charities, eyesight impaired and other difficulties that are often a challenge to address, and expensive at that. This was the 14th event held at the Park, Parking is free. Admission is $2. Ride tickets are sold at an additional cost.
  • Stone Harbor St. Mary's Episcopal Church Strawberry Festival - Sunday, June 17, 2018 from 6 pm to 8 pm
    9425 Third Ave., Stone Harbor, NJ 08247. Phone: 609-368-5922. Strawberry Festival at St. Mary's Church from 6 to 8 pm. Jersey strawberries are the best, and all things delicious and strawberry will be served at St. Mary's Strawberry Festival. Stop by for dessert...it will be berry good!
  • West Cape May Strawberry Festival -  the first Saturday in June from 9am-5pm (in 29018, it's, June 2, 2018)
    Downtown West Cape May, NJ. Phone: 609-884-9325. Alternate phone: 609-884-8382. Sponsored by the West Cape May Business Association, the Strawberry Festival has become an eagerly anticipated event each spring. Strawberries abound in both edible and non-edible form. In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June.  See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May).     Take a Scenic hayride to our strawberry patch to pick your own strawberries! And then enjoy lots of Family Fun Activities (Pony Rides, Tractor Train Rides, Moon Bounce, Hay Wagon Rides, Corn Kingdom and much more!!) Pick Your Own Strawberries too!   • Donaldson Farms  - 2018 DATES & HOURS: Saturdays & Sundays in June (June 2-3, June 9-10, June 16-17, June 23-24) Saturdays 8:00 a.m - 6:00 p.m, Sundays 8:00 a.m - 5:00 p.m., Availability varies for additional activities. Dates and hours are weather permitting

In addition to u-pick, there is pre-picked:   Asparagus; melons; peaches; sweet corn; tomatoes; lettuce; complete line of farm fresh produce. Directions: Hackettstown.   • Johnson's Farm Strawberry Festival - late May and June

June 1, 2, 3; Friday evening from 5-9 Saturday & Sunday from 12 to 4. The Fun & Food all starts on Friday evening during our weekly Friday Night Farm-B-Q and Classic Car Cruise. DJ Frank will be spinning the tunes. Hayrides to pick will leave until 7 PM on Friday evening and from 10 to 4 on Sat. and Sun. Chef Scott will be GRILLING Hamburgers, Chicken legs, Pulled pork and Italian Sausage and we will have all your favorite sides and fixens!! A definite date will be announced once the strawberries come out of winter dormancy, but check out the other Strawberry Festival details! Our Strawberry Festival is being held at the South Brunswick farm only. We also have a roadside market / farm stand with Sweet corn; tomatoes; peppers; strawberries; raspberries; string beans; melons; pumpkins; other assorted home-grown fruits & vegetables. We also have Jersey Fresh Cooks cookbook; cut flowers; mums; Indian corn; perennials; annuals; hanging baskets; vegetable plants; fall festival with pyo pumpkins & free hay rides; WIC and Senior FMNP checks accepted. Strawberries: mid May thru mid June.
