New Hampshire 2018 Strawberry Festivals - Where, When and More Details!

There are two general types of strawberry festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Strawberry festival held at and by a farm

They are different in what they offer, so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both. And following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making strawberry jam, freezing strawberries, strawberry pies and much more. 

Community Strawberry Festivals

  • The Hollis Woman's Club Strawberry Festival - Sunday, late June From 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.(check their website for this year's dates)
    Hollis Town Common, Hollis, NH. Annual Strawberry Festival and Band Concert. This fun family event  features fresh local strawberries, homemade strawberry shortcakes, strawberry sundaes and ice cream!
  • Covey House / Historic Society Annual Fitzwilliam Strawberry Festival - Frinday in Late June, from 1 pm to 4 pm
    Village Green , Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire. Covey House will be open for this event and invites you to discover all that Fitzwilliam has to offer.
  • Cruisin' the Berry Old Days Strawberry Festival - late June, 1-7 p.m.  see their website for this year's date
    Bow Mills United Methodist Church, 505 South Street, Bow, New Hampshire.  Phone: 603-228-1154. Classic cars, vendor displays, strawberry delights bake sale, pie contest, live music, live animals, demonstrations and our Ye Old Country Feast and Strawberry Shortcake Meal featuring, chocolate covered strawberries, ham, baked beans, cole slaw, corn on the cob, breads, strawberry lemonade and strawberry shortcake. 3 seatings at 1:00, 4:30 and 6:00 p.m. 2009 Tickets: $10/adults, $5/6-12, 5 and under free! Call for more information. Reservations are recommended.
  • FLOW Annual Strawberry Festival and Book Fair - Saturday, June 2, 2018 (they don't actually say what time - call or email as the date approaches)
    Windham High School64 London Bridge Road, Windham, NH 03087. Friends of the Library of Windham has been holing this festival for 35 years. Purchase books, play games, listen to musicians, watch performers, have a bite to eat, enter raffles to win fantastic prizes, and, of course, enjoy delicious homemade strawberry shortcake.Windham will hold its largest community event, the Strawberry Festival and Book Fair. It attracted over 1,500 people from local communities last year.•A fun-filled family event featuring games, books, food, entertainment, and of course homemade strawberry shortcakes•A perfect marketing and public relations venue for local businesses.
  • Hampstead Congregational Church Annual Strawberry Festival - early June
    61 Main St, Hampstead, New Hampshire 03841. Phone: (603) 329-6985. Email: [email protected]. The Annual Strawberry Festival at the Hampstead Congregational Church! There will be food, fun for kids, shopping from local vendors, and of course- strawberry shortcake! The event has both indoor and outdoor activities, and is rain or shine. This event is free, and a perfect "all ages" event.
  • Kingston First Congregational Church Annual Strawberry Festival - Saturday in mid-June 17 from 9am to 2pm

Our yearly event promises to be as delicious as ever with great lunches and strawberry desserts served inside our Rent Fellowship Hall, a church-wide white elephant/yard sale area, and individual yard sale spaces outside on the church lawn. This is a rain or shine event. You won't want to miss our "world famous" Strawberry Shortcake! Proceeds from this year's event will be directed to Come to browse and shop then stay for lunch and delicious desserts, especially the Shortcake!

  • New London Annual Strawberry Festival - June,  Saturday, June 23rd, 2018 from 10 am to 3 pm

This annual festival will include children's entertainment, local vendors, Fine Arts and local Strawberries from Spring Ledge Farm. Hosted by New London Recreation Department . VENDORS GALORE! Crafts, food, jewelry & much, much more  LIVE Music all day on different stages, Children's Theatre (12:00 pm show) Hot Food & Cold Drinks, and of course,   LOTS of Shortcake & LOCAL Strawberries FOR SALE! Vendors wanted! $25 per, bring your own tables and tents.
  • Northwood Congregational Church, United Church of Christ Annual Strawberry Festival - Saturday in late June from 8 AM to 2 PM
    881 1st NH Tpke, Northwood, New Hampshire 03261. Phone: 603-942-7116. Start at . 8:00 am Pancake breakfast with sausage, coffee and juice..  Then 11:00 am Lunch on the grill with hamburgers and hotdogs. All day long you can shop at our yard sale under the tent, buy baked goods, eat strawberry shortcake or sundaes and take tours of the church. Come join us for breakfast, lunch, and music. And of course we'll have our big rummage sale under the tent. All are welcome!
  • Red House Annual Strawberry Festival and Vintage Market - mid-June

Farm Strawberry Festivals

In addition to community and church festivals, some private farms have their own strawberry festivals in June.  See each farm for this year's dates (they often do not announce them until the end of May).
