This page provides a detailed list of western New York's pick- your- own (PYO, U-pick, pick-it-yourself) farms for everything from apples, berries, fruit, pumpkins, vegetables to cut-you-own Christmas trees!  I'm always looking for suggestions of more farms and events to add and feedback about any you have visited, so if you encounter any, just click on the preceding link, as appropriate!  And if you have a farm and want to add it or correct the information, please click on the link to "add my farm".

Remember to ALWAYS either email, call or click the link to the farm's own website (if they have one) on the morning before you go, to confirm hours, conditions and availability of the specific crops you want!

Picking dates are from late June to early July, with a season of 2 to 3 weeks depending on the weather.. They have a farm stand to buy already picked sweet and sour cherries, plus grapes. You can also go out and pick cherries in their orchard, in which they have many varieties like dwarf trees for easy access. Blueberries: Mid-July to September 1 Corn: Around late August. If weather allows. Tomatoes: August, if crop does not get the blight. We lost both corn and tomatoes last year, due to weather problems. Payment: Cash, only. This Blueberry Farm, is also the Art studio of Counselor Counselet. It is open during blueberry season and everyone is welcome to enjoy paintings on the wall. Children are welcome. Everything is provided. We try to keep bug spray on hand, for those who forget. No Smoking is permitted on the property. Tobacco smoke is bad for plants, as well as your fellow pickers. Outhouse, first aid station, filtered water also available. Blueberries are fully birdnetted, making easy and fast picking. Our U-Pick sweet cherry season starts in early July and tart cherries usually start to ripen in mid-July. Cherry harvest is almost always completed by August 1st, when the peach season starts.
