Comments from a visitor on July 10, 2011:In response to another customer stating that Maan Farms (in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada) was not organic... the ad states 'uses natural growing practices' A grower can still use these practices and still not be organic. I think people need to understand what the true definition of what organic means. I had to say something because the way the customer feedback sounds, it is as though they were calling the farm owner a liar. Just my two-bits worth (UPDATED: July 10, 2011)

Comments from a visitor on December 08, 2010:
"So I am here looking for local Christmas tree farms and happened upon the Willow farm comments. A farm our family visits often. Surprised to read that there was a negative comment I read further... I don't know if I'm the only one who sees this or not but having spent much time there...I can tell you exactly what the farm owners response was to "just the two of us"... No more TOUR BUSSES, have no more room for TOUR BUSSES. "Tour busses" sounds just like "two of usses doesn't it? Hopefully this woman will read this and give the farm a second chance...not something you want to miss out on :)"
Comments from a visitor on October 19, 2010: "It's really unfortunate that whoever commented that the lady at Willow View was rude got such a poor impression of the farm. As the next poster suggested, I'm sure it was a miscommunication. I live a few blocks from there and take my children weekly. It is are not just families who go, by any means. I regularly see my retired high-school teacher there picking apples with his wife. Admission is free, the grounds are festive, the produce abundant, the staff friendly and efficient, the kids can play for hours, the Cider Slushies are AMAZING! And be sure to get a Snack Jack pumpkin for the best roasting seeds ever. :)"
Comments from a visitor on October 17, 2010:
"I just called to ask if the farm was open today (their website suggests it would be). The lady answered and said yes, they were open. She asked if we were a family and I said, no "just two of us." She quickly cut me off and said, "no more two of us." I was confused and asked her why not, to which she said "can't accomodate any more two of us's." She was remarkably rude and thus, I would not recommend giving any business to this place! Clearly not a couples-friendly farm!!"
Comments from a visitor on September 22, 2009:
"You can join the facebook group. They have fall festivals, pumpkin festivals, playground and picnic areas, petting barn and hayrides .I loved taking my daughter here. Great place for families to come out and spend the day, and lots of great produce to buy!!" (Suggested by a visitor, ADDED: September 22, 2009)

Comments from a visitor on August 11, 2011: "I would like to ask you to add the following customer review under the Bissett Farms (also Westham Island Estate Winery ).  we ought to expose some unfriendly farmers.  This July I went to pick up some blackberry but due to the misleading signs, i picked up about 10 pounds boysberry. It was okay for me.  however, after I paid the money and tried to transfer some berries to the other paper box, the owner ran to me with unspeakable rudeness and madness, shouting with questions like " what is he doing?", "The box can be used by other customers." "Get out and I can say whatever I want to say."  It was very unpleasant experience while picked up some berries. I recommend them absolutely not as they were so rude and prejudice. when the owner tried to kick me out, I told her that the good day is outside but not inside.  what a terrible farm owner. I post this message to alert others be aware of their irrational attitude. and their fruits were much worse than other adjacent farms. The farm was poorly managed by them as well. stay away from them and enjoy your days.   please post this under this farm so others may be aware of what they did.   "

Ball Enamel Waterbath Canner, Including Chrome-Plated Rack and 4-Piece Utensil Set

* All the tools you need for hot waterbath canning - in one comprehensive set!
* Complete with 21 1/2 qt. enameled waterbath canner
* Also includes canning rack, funnel, jar lifter, jar wrencher, bubble freer, tongs and lid lifter.
* A Kitchen Krafts exclusive collection.

This is the same type of standard canner that my grandmother used to make everything from applesauce to jams and jellies to tomato and spaghetti sauce. This complete kit includes everything you need and lasts for years: the canner, jar rack, jar grabber tongs, lid lifting wand, a plastic funnel, labels, bubble freer. It's much cheaper than buying the items separately. You'll never need anything else except jars & lids (and the jars are reusable)! There is also s simple kit with just the canner and rack, and a pressure canner, if your want to do vegetables (other than tomatoes).
