A visitor writes on July 10, 2011:In response to another customer stating that Maan Farms (in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada) was not organic... the ad states 'uses natural growing practices' A grower can still use these practices and still not be organic. I think people need to understand what the true definition of what organic means. I had to say something because the way the customer feedback sounds, it is as though they were calling the farm owner a liar. Just my two-bits worth (UPDATED: July 10, 2011)
A visitor writes on June 28, 2010: "Maan Farms of Abbotsford B.C. is not organic. They apply non-emergence herbicide to the strawberry patch in the spring which is typical practice for all farms in this region." -

A visitor writes on December 08, 2010: "So I am here looking for local Christmas tree farms and happened upon the Willow farm comments. A farm our family visits often. Surprised to read that there was a negative comment I read further... I don't know if I'm the only one who sees this or not but having spent much time there...I can tell you exactly what the farm owners response was to "just the two of us"... No more TOUR BUSSES, have no more room for TOUR BUSSES. "Tour busses" sounds just like "two of usses doesn't it? Hopefully this woman will read this and give the farm a second chance...not something you want to miss out on :)"
A visitor writes on October 19, 2010: "It's really unfortunate that whoever commented that the lady at Willow View was rude got such a poor impression of the farm. As the next poster suggested, I'm sure it was a miscommunication. I live a few blocks from there and take my children weekly. It is are not just families who go, by any means. I regularly see my retired high-school teacher there picking apples with his wife. Admission is free, the grounds are festive, the produce abundant, the staff friendly and efficient, the kids can play for hours, the Cider Slushies are AMAZING! And be sure to get a Snack Jack pumpkin for the best roasting seeds ever. :)"
A visitor writes on October 17, 2010: "I just called to ask if the farm was open today (their website suggests it would be). The lady answered and said yes, they were open. She asked if we were a family and I said, no "just two of us." She quickly cut me off and said, "no more two of us." I was confused and asked her why not, to which she said "can't accomodate any more two of us's." She was remarkably rude and thus, I would not recommend giving any business to this place! Clearly not a couples-friendly farm!!"
A visitor writes on September 22, 2009: "You can join the facebook group. They have fall festivals, pumpkin festivals, playground and picnic areas, petting barn and hayrides .I loved taking my daughter here. Great place for families to come out and spend the day, and lots of great produce to buy!!" (Suggested by a visitor, ADDED: September 22, 2009)
