A visitor writes on July 28, 2010: "I went to Kayben Farms on Saturday to pick strawberries. Their website said first come, first served, so I went early. The field opens at 10 and I was there at 8, the first and only car for about an hour. They don't actually mean first come, first served. They mean, open chaos starts at 10. Everyone was led from the parking lot into the garden centre, were told the berries were bad, then were sent with little 1L containers into the field without any supervision or instruction on how to pick strawberries. What resulted was nearly a riot. I'm not certain how they actually make money because of the number of berries that were squished or left behind by the mob. I will not be back to Kayben Farms because this was the worst u-pick experience that I could imagine. "
