We offer our guests both U-Pick and harvested apples and pears, as well as our own freshly pressed cider in season. Local honey and maple products are also available. At the end of the exit ramp turn left. Travel 23 miles to Forksville. Two miles past Forksville turn left onto Millview Mountain Road. The farm is 7 miles from that point. Directions: Our farm is on State Route 414 west approximately 3 miles from the 220/414 intersection in Monroeton. If heading west on 414, we are located just past the Monroe Frankin Elementary School on the left. Click here for a map to our farm. Crops are usually available in July, August, September, October. Open: The corn stand will be open generally from Noon until 6:00pm all summer. There will be an "honor bucket" if no one is available to work the stand. Pumkin hours are all day on weekends and after 4:00pm during the week throughout the month of October. Anyone wanting free pumkins after Halloween may stop and take as many as you would like. Sweet corn is available from the middle of July until September, as the weather conditions permit. Pumkin sales begin the first weekend in October and run through the end of the month. Payment: Cash, Check. We also have prepicked cucumbers, summer squash, winter squash, and hay and straw for sale, as well as decorative gourds and ornamental corn.

Centre County

  • Way Fruit Farm - U-pick strawberries,  sour cherries, and Pumpkins. Many other prepicked fruits corn, vegetables
    Port Matilda, PA 16870. Phone: (814)692-5211. Open: 8am-6pm Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Saturday. Strawberries start in Mid-June and last till around July 4th. We have numerous varieties and a couple acres of Strawberries to be picked. The large Sour Cherry orchard is available for U-pick usually starting Mid-July and ending at the beginning of August. We start selling pumpkins in late September and continue until October. We also have a fall festival in October that you can get a wagon ride out to our patch and pick a pumpkin from the field yourself. See the Fall Festival page for more information. Every year Way Fruit Farm hosts a Fall Festival on the 2nd and 3rd Saturday's of October. The Festival is a great time to come out with family or friends and take a free wagon ride out to the pumpkin patch and pick just the pumpkin you want. There is also numerous other things to do at the festival. There is an apple slingshot, over a dozen crafters, a petting zoo and other activities to enjoy. Food is provided by a local Lions Club and baked goods including apple dumplings are available. The best part of it all is that 10% of all the earning's on both Saturday's will go to an orphanage in the Dominican Republic.

Columbia County

  • Seesholtz Bros. Farms - strawberries

Directions: The Lime Ridge fields are located at Interstate 80 exit 241 off Route 11. The Mifflinville fields are located off Interstate 80 exit 242 on Route 339 on the Mifflinville/Nescopeck Highway. Crops are usually available in June. Open: everyday including Sundays from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Children are welcome in the fields. Strawberries are generally ready the month of June. Best to call first for picking conditions and varieties. Payment: Cash, only. The Seesholtz family has been growing strawberries since 1923 and now has the fourth generation working at the farm. Berries are sold by the pound. Please bring containers to pick in. Small buckets, pots, pans, bowls, etc. work best.

Cumberland County
