Grape U-Pick orchards in Southwestern Missouri in 2024, by county

Below are the U-Pick orchards for grapes that we know of in this area. Not all areas of any state, nor even every state, have grapes orchards that are open to the public. If you know of any others, please tell us using the add a farm form!

Remember to always check with the farm's own website or Facebook page before you go - or call or email them if they don't have a website or Facebook page. Conditions at the farms and crops can change literally overnight, so if you want to avoid a wasted trip out there - check with the farm directly before you go! If I cannot reach them, I DON'T GO!

Wright County

  • Greenhill Vineyard and Farm - grapes,
    4905 highway 5, Hartville, MO 65667. Phone: 417-741-7396. Email: greenhillfarm@hotmail.com. Open: Tuesday through Sunday; Closed on Monday; Mid August through September; 10 am to 6 pm. Directions: On Highway 5, 9 miles north of Highway 60, 1.5 miles south of the city of Hartville. Call for directions or see website. . Click here for a map and directions. Payment: Cash, Check. . . A great place for a summer outing. Bring the kids as long as you plan to supervise them in the vineyard. Although we try to minimize spraying of chemicals be advised that in Missouri we must use some fungicide sprays and limited insect spray if needed. We have a few picnic tables but limited toilet facilities (in our home.) Also, you can crush and destem and press grapes into juice using our equipment. Just call or email and let us know so we can schedule a time for you. Check via phone or email to verify availability of grapes or check our website; We will post grape ripeness, brix and quantities on the website; typically Ready July 25 Thursday, Seyval Blanc grapes (yellow French variety); typically Ready August 1st, Chambourcin grapes (red French variety); Concord grapes mid August, check on website. Grape picking tips

  • Pick ripe: Grapes do not ripen after they are picked
  • Appearance: Look for heavy, firm grapes
  • To harvest grapes, carefully cut the grape clusters from the vine using pruning shears. Be careful not to bruise or damage the fruit or the surrounding vines.
