Open They have a hayride, a shop, a bakery, a concessions stand, a snack shack overlooking a pond, a flower field to pick your own flowers (I was told this was new this year), a few lawn games like darts, tetherball, and rubber duck racing, and sweet potato launching. I was surprised at how big the farm was, and ended up spending all afternoon there. They also have a wedding location by the pond, and lots of farm animals, though they discourage you from petting or feeding them. And while their summer fest is over, they prep the corn field to make a cornmaze for their Fall on the Farm event. Pumpkins and corn maze: Every Saturday and Sunday September 24th through November 6th. We will be open for corn maze, pumpkin patch, hayride, animal viewing & more!. Christmas: We have a magical season planned with photos with Santa, Christmas crafts to enjoy creating with family, tractor rides, hot chocolate, Christmas games and activities, bon fire and s’mores, letter to Santa, farm animals and more! Farm house accommodations also include prep kitchen and honeymoon suite. The grooms house offers kitchen, full bath and plenty of space for the men to dress and socialize. Eggs: Tips, Recipes and Information

Many PYO farms keep chickens and have farm-fresh eggs to sell. Certainly, these eggs are fresher and better in every way than those from a grocery store. Many of these farms sell the eggs year round, often via an honor box

Before you leave to go to the farm:

1. Always call or check their website or facebook page before you go to the farm - Egg supplies can vary, chickens lay fewer in cold weather.
2. Bring a container for the eggs.  Some farms have them some not, but if you save and reuse egg cartoons, the farmers will appreciate it. It helps cut their costs - and thus yours!
3. Bring cash - many operate honor boxes for eggs
   

When you get home

 To keep eggs safe, take eggs straight home and store them immediately in the refrigerator set at 35 to 40 F. Leave the eggs in their carton and place them in the back of the refrigerator, not in the door (which is the warmest part of the fridge).
