Cheshire

  • Church Farm Organics - PYO: Strawberries, raspberries, beetroot, carrots, pumpkins, potatoes, asparagus
    Church Lane, Thurstaston Wirral. Phone: 0151 648 7838. Directions: A540 Chester to Heswall. Then Thurstaston 2nd L down Station Rd L at T-jn farm on RHS. (M53/J4 Clattacadge. Follow signs to Bamstage to next rbt. A540 to Heswall - continue A540 to Thurstaston.) Small 70 acre working farm with views over the Dee , excellent walking. Soil Association certified organic, growing wide range of own fresh produce inc salads; organic PYO strawberries. Box scheme, please call for details.  The farm shop has Fresh vegetables, fresh herbs, cream, free-range eggs, meat, Organic selection.
    Facilities: Ample parking, scenic walks/tractor rides, pub nearby, plants and shrubs for sale, fishing, boating, camping, farm animals, easy access for disabled, toilets. Children's farm parties offered.  Farm-grown Xmas trees
  • Eddisbury Fruit Farm - Apples, Pears, Soft Fruit, Plums
    Yeld Lane, Kelsall Tarporley. Phone: 01829 759157. Directions: Leave A54 at Kelsall traffic lights (RAC signed to Eddisbury Fruit Farm June-Dec). Turn right up Yeld Lane opposite "Farmers Arms". Farm 1 mile. Home of Cheshire Apple Juice, Cider and Fruit Wines. PYO and farm shop, large range of apples, pears, plums and soft fruits to pick and buy in the shop plus a range of local produce. Click here for the harvest Timetable.  Farmer's Market held on the farm on the third Sunday of every month. Facilities: Ample parking, scenic walks – enjoy our blossom walk in the Spring;  pub 1 mile away, toilets, easy access for disabled.
  • Kenyon Hall - Blackcurrants, gooseberries, raspberries, strawberries, Tayberries, beetroot, broad beans, mange-tout, onions, peas, sugar-snap peas, Pumpkins, rhubarb, whitecurrants, redcurrants, turnips

The Pick Your Own farm shop is after August for the summer and open again in the last week of October for Pumpkins and Squashes, and then at Easter for Asparagus and on for the summer.

  • Windmill Farm Pick Your Own - Pick your own or ready picked strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants.
    Peter Miles, Windmill Farm, Burwardsley Road, Tattenhall, Chester, Cheshire CH3 9NS. Phone: 01829 770 228. Directions: Take A41 turn towards Tattenhall and from the village follow signs for the Candle Factory, before reaching Burwardsley village, Windmill Farm is on the left. Opening Hours: Seasonal 10 am to 7pm in season from June. Punnets picked for sale at the farm and in local shops. From the beginning of December we have Holly garlands and Christmas Trees available. Wide selection of heights and varieties with or without roots. Orders taken from November.
  • Woore Fruit Farm - strawberries & gooseberries (May-June). Other fruit later in the season

Cumbria

  • Park House Farm - Strawberries, Raspberries, Gooseberries, Blackcurrants.
    Heversham, Milnthorpe, LA7 7EB. Phone:  01 539 563340. Directions: We are on the right hand side of the A6, 6˝ miles South of Kendal, just before Milnthorpe. Opening times:  10.00am to 8.00pm, 7 days a week.
  • Rowley's Raspberries - raspberries, Christmas Trees
    Glassonby, Penrith, CA10 1DU. Phone:  01 768 898382. Directions: In the centre of the Eden valley.  Look for our signs! (1)   From Penrith take the A686 to Langwathby, turn Left and follow the signs to Little Salkeld, then follow the signs towards Glassonby. (2) From Lazonby, cross the River Eden near Kirkoswald.  Take the first right to Glassonby, and follow the signs. Raspberries, PYO  and Ready picked. Also Christmas Trees   (available later).

Lancashire

  • The Farm Shop at Claytons Strawberry Farm - strawberries, gooseberries, raspberries, black currants, red currants and pea pods
    Course Lane, Newburgh, Wigan, Lancashire WN8 7UB. Phone: 01257 462695. They also do hanging baskets and flowers and there new potatoes at the Farm Shop. Ask for peter or David for the tip of the day
  • Greenbank Farm - Strawberries, Gooseberries, Raspberries, Redcurrants, Blackcurrants and Potatoes
    Over Kellet, Carnforth, Lancashire LA6 IBS UK. Phone: +44 (0)1524 733296. Email: feedback@greenbankfarm.co.uk. Strawberries and Gooseberries in late June. Raspberries, Redcurrants, Blackcurrants and Potatoes will be ready in early July. Check back closer to the time for updates.
  • Mansergh Hall - strawberries, gooseberries and blackcurrants

Directions: in the Lancashire village of Kirkby Lonsdale.  The fruit farm is well sign posted off the A65 and the B6254.(Click here for a Map) Open: PYO is open, weather permitting, from mid-June until August 10am to 7pm seven days per week. We have fantastic facilities including a children’s play area and a wide range of refreshments. For crop information and opening hours please phone.

Merseyside

  • Brimstage Maize Maze at Gregorys Farm - cornfield maze
    Brimstage Hall Brimstage, Wirral, Merseyside, CH63 6JA. Phone: 07709 339490. Email us at: maze@gregorysfarm.co.uk. Directions: You will find us just off Junction 4 of the M53. Follow the brown and white tourist signs for Brimstage Hall and Craft Centre, the farm is situated behind the craft centre and shares its free car park. . We are open July, August, September, October. Our hours are: The cornfield maze is open daily from July 21st 2007. 10.30am to 6pm.
  • Claremont Farm - blackberries, currants (red and black), gooseberries, raspberries, strawberries, tayberries
