U-Pick Apples is planned to start August 24, 2019
U-pick hours are Saturday is from 10:30am to 5:00pm. Sunday 1:00-4:00pm. Weekday Groups by Appt.
Directions: 3.5 miles west of Ellijay (from the Dairy Queen) on Ga Hwy 282 (U.S. 76).
Produce: Apples, cider, peaches, grapes, jams, jellies, relishes, honey, syrup, apple cakes, strudels, cookies, bread.
2019 Prices: Quarter Peck $4, Half Peck $8, Peck $14, Half bushel with basket $25 , Plus state & local taxes and applicable fees.
Wagon Rides & Pick Your Own Apples' is on weekends in
September and October or until all the apples are picked in the orchard.
In 2019, $7.50 admission includes a Tractor ride to and from the orchard, pick an apple from the Orchard, a cup of cold cider, an apple cider doughnut, 2 flowers, ice water at the orchard, rock & pumpkin painting, picnic area and enjoy the playground area for kids. There are horses and mules next to the orchard. Pumpkins are in the field, at the U-Pick shed and the Apple Barn. (Pumpkin cost is based on what type or size you pick) Children 2 and under are free. Taxes not included.
Tthey have a good variety of apples and other pre-picked fresh produce. It's quite a ways from the cluster of orchards in East Ellijay, but if you are coming from the west, it would be more convenient!

order that they typically start to be harvested in Ellijay. Be sure to call
a couple weeks before they are due to start harvesting, as the actual date
varies from year to year! Ellijay apple orchards usually have apples for
sale from August to late December.
