Notes for April 2024:Apples are usually January to May; Blueberries are ready in December to mid January in MOST areas of Australia. Strawberries can have a long season, November to April - depending on the variety. See your area's crop availability calendar for more specific dates of upcoming crops. The U-pick crops they offer follow the name of the farm. This farm has been operating since 2008 and is open during the picking season from October to May. Or turn off the Bruce Hwy at the Monto Kalpower turnoff drive till you see the Gaeta turnoff and keep driving till you come to 1532 this drive gives lovely scenic views and passes beside Mt. Gaeta it is a very lovely drive. Our olives are the very first olives harvested in the whole of Australia, they are grown organically and are harvested February to March for processing Payment: Pick your very own organic olives or buy a variety of organic extra virgin olive oil that is processed on the Grove.

They have a special “Pick Your Own” area, please bring a bucket and snips if you can to take home your flowers. They will have secateurs available but they will be in hot demand! Prices in 2023 for Sunflowers are $2 each. $1 from every sunflower sold goes directly to Qld Cancer Council.

Sunflower Sue’s Sunflower Farm - sunflowers
OSHEA Road, Wamuran, QLD. Phone: 61 408 752 922. Open: Saturday and Sunday (only the weekends outside of school holidays) from 8am to 4pm, Saturday 5th November 8 am, Sunday 6th November 4 pm. We have a whole field of flowers (some are huge or multi stemmed) and they need to be picked. Wear your sunflower dresses and shirts, wear those sunflower earings and hats. Dress up! In 2022, It's $15 (cash only) entry fee for everyone 14 years and older and for that you get 7 flowers. But you have to pick them yourselves that's why you need the scissors. So bring your kids and grandmas and grandpas and anybody who loves these flowers. We're dog friendly too if it is on a lead.
If it is torrential rain we will not open but you can check for updates on Facebook. We will open if it's only showers but prepare for a little mud. See you on the weekend and don't forget your scissors, or you can't cut them, or your CASH or you can't buy them. (ADDED: November 04, 2022, JBS)
