Peach Festivals in Massachusetts in 2019: Where, When and More to Find a Peach Festival Near You!

 Massachusetts

Peaches typically ripen from May (in northern Florida and Texas) through June, July and August in the mid-Atlantic, Midwest and New England. July dominates as the month for peach production (and festivals) Unlike strawberries, which grow almost anywhere, peaches are grown commercially in half as many states.

There are two general types of peach festivals 1) community festivals, usually organized by a church, school, local Chamber of commerce or a town and 2). Peach festival held at and by a farm. They are different in what they offer, and community festivals tend to be less expensive so they are grouped separately. (of course not all states and areas have both.)
Following the festival listings are links to our easy to follow directions about making peach jam, freezing peaches, peach pies and much more.

Community Peach Festivals

  • Acushnet Apple-Peach Festival - Annually in early September (just after Labor Day); See their website for this year's dates and times

Freshly picked produce, homemade peach, apple, & custard, pies and pastries to market. Along with a variety of homemade foods to select from, including Chorizo Sandwiches.
  • The Wilbraham Peach Festival - held annually on a weekend in mid-August (click on the link to their website for this year's dates)

The main stage and children's tent will feature a variety of local and regional talent, and FlippenOut Productions will make a return appearance on Sunday. And, of course, with peach sundaes, peach bread, peach shakes, and of course, Mr. Peach, we're sure you will have a peach of a time! All proceeds from the Wilbraham Peach Festival go to local community groups and scholarships.
